What data is sent:
- Voice Recordings: Your spoken English audio is converted to text and sent to Google Gemini AI for analysis
- Text Messages: Any text you type in the app is sent to Google Gemini AI for conversation and feedback
- Device ID: A unique identifier for your device (not personally identifiable)
- Conversation Context: Previous messages in your current session for contextual responses

2.3 iOS Native Services
- Speech Recognition: Apple's on-device speech-to-text (processed locally on your device)

3. How We Protect Your Data
- Encryption: All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption
- No Permanent Storage: Voice recordings are processed in real-time and NOT stored on our servers
- Device ID Only: We use a random device ID, NOT your name, email, or phone number
- Minimal Data: We only collect what's necessary for the app to function
4. Data Retention
- Voice Recordings: Processed in real-time by Google Gemini AI, not permanently stored by Kspeaker
- Text Messages: Sent to AI for processing, not stored by Kspeaker
- Conversation History: Stored locally on your device only (deleted when you clear app data)
- Analytics: Anonymous usage data retained for 90 days
- Crash Logs: Anonymous error logs retained for 30 days
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Control Your Data
- Stop Data Sharing: Uninstall the app to immediately stop all data sharing
- Clear Local Data: Delete app data from iOS Settings → Kspeaker → Clear Data
- Request Data Deletion: Email us at privacy@kartezya.com
- Access Your Data: Contact us to request what data we have
5.2 Opt-Out Options
- Notifications: Disable in app Settings or iOS Settings
- Analytics: Currently collected anonymously (no opt-out needed for anonymous data)
- AI Processing: Cannot opt-out (core app functionality requires AI)
6. Children's Privacy
Kspeaker is rated 4+ and suitable for children. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act):
- We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
- We do NOT require registration or email for basic app use
- Parents can request deletion of any data by contacting us
- Voice data is processed in real-time and NOT stored
